As you all know, the 9th Hydrocarbon Exploration and Development Congress (ConExplo 2014) is an international congress, which will enjoy the participation of outstanding members of the geoscientific community.

The participation of advanced students of Geology, Geophysics and Engineering is also taken into account.
Therefore, with the aim of facilitating the participation of students, two scholarships will be granted to each participating University, covering the registration and accomodation expenses in Mendoza, where the Congress will be held.

The representatives of the different Universities will participate in a competition with a related topic, which will be compulsory in order to receive the above-mentioned benefits. Groups of students will be in charge of drafting these projects, and out of all the participants, only two will be given the scholarships.

Topic to be developed: “OIL SYSTEM AND ITS INTEGRATION WITH GEOLOGY, GEOPHYSICS AND ENGINEERING”.

The idea behind this topic is to integrate academic knowledge with basic concepts of the hydrocarbon industry.
Presentations will last 25 minutes, with 5 additional minutes to clarify doubts.

Presentations must be sent in advance, so that the Organizing Committee can assess them.
A jury will assess all presentations and awards will be given to the first, second and third best presentations.
