Poster Session

Poster sessions are ideal to exchange ideas, experiences and points of view with other colleagues in an informal environment. Since there is more time and the atmosphere is relaxed, Poster Sessions are perfect to present material in greater detail (Regional Studies, New Workflows, Innovative Technology applications, Provincial or International bidding plans, among others).

They are also useful for better interactions between authors and visitors since they encourage consultation and exchange of ideas and constructive opinions.

Even though poster sessions are similar to traditional oral presentations, they require preparation changes. Besides the technical and scientific content, they must be ATTRACTIVE, well ORGANIZED, and basically SELF EXPLANATORY.
Participants shall have “U”- shaped modules of approximately 2.5m high, 3m wide and 1m long. Graphs can be exhibited on both sides. They will be adequately lit in a room with all the comfort and safety this type of exhibition deserves. An e- Poster (automatic electronic presentation) session is being considered for some specific cases. The IX Congress Organizing Committee shall timely provide the necessary indications to help presentations follow uniform standards and criteria. Daily 8hrs sessions for 3 days are planned for paper exhibitions. Those interested in getting in contact with authors shall have the opportunity to meet them during 2 one hour intervals (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) which will be included in the Congress Program.
