Sesión de Pósters

The poster sessions are ideal for a direct contact with colleagues and participants in general, for the exchange of ideas, experiences and views in an informal environment.

Since there is more time, poster sessions are perfect to present material in greater detail (maps, seismic sections, profiles, rock samples, core samples, official plans for hydrocarbon activities and national and international bidding opportunities, investigation projects, etc.) or any extra information that may contribute to further debate and that may not be included in the poster due to confidentiality or disclosure policies).

Posters will be mounted on ‘U-shaped’ modules: sizes must be 3 m long, with two lateral parts of 1m (each) and 2.45 high and could include graphs.

Certain aspects and recommendations shall be taken into consideration when designing the posters and the Organizing Committee will inform this to authors. These guides will not only contribute to an attractive presentation but also to the organization of the information and accessing it, especially when the author(s) are not present in the modules. This means that many people will have the chance to review the material without the benefit of an oral explanation.

Posters will be exhibited all day so that attendees have the possibility to examine each presentation in detail.  The Exhibition will start the day of the Opening Ceremony.

Authors must be present – on the corresponding day - at least 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon in order to interact with visitors, answer to their questions and exchange opinions.

Activities to be presented in poster format:

  • Technical Papers and Symposia
  • Student Programme contributions
  • Official bodies presentations
