Olivier Germain is the Well Construction 4.0. Program Director in Halliburton, with special emphasis on the accelerated Digitalization of the Project Management service line.

 

Germain has more than 25 years of industry experience. He spent the first part of his career managing all aspects of well construction and intervention operations all over the world, before bringing his oilfield domain experience to software development. He joined Halliburton in 2010 to direct the Landmark R&D efforts in the Drilling, Production and Economics areas and led the expansion and transformation of the portfolio into its current open platform-based ecosystem. He moved to Halliburton Digital Solutions in 2020.

 

Germain holds an MSc for Ecole Centrale Paris, MBA from Erasmus Rotterdam School of Management, is a Halliburton President Leadership Excellence Program graduate, and holds 10 US Patents.
