“Sylvain Santamarta is the global leader of BCG's Centre for Digital in Oil & Gas and a member of BCG’s Energy leadership team. In his role, Sylvain oversees the development of BCG's digital offering and BCG's digital capabilities in O&G, including the technology partnerships with key actors of the ecosystem.

Sylvain serves large clients in the energy space with a specific focus on strategy, large scale transformations and the challenges of sustainability and decarbonization. Those mandates are typically about protecting and establishing sources of competitive advantages in an increasingly uncertain and dynamic industry context. Systematically, data and digital are critical ingredients of the change agenda of Sylvain’s clients.

Prior to BCG, Sylvain worked 7 years with Shell International where he held several positions in Upstream and in Corp. Finance. Sylvain graduated from the French Engineering School, Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers (ENSAM) and earned a MBA from Harvard Business School.”
