As it is already customary, the 9th Hydrocarbon Exploration and Development Congress (ConExplo 2014) will also include Round Tables, where outstanding professionals in the field of exploration and development are invited to discuss topics that spark off great interest and an impact on the business. In this opportunity, 3 Round Tables will be held during the Congress.

Unconventional resources are perhaps the most important source at this time in order to regain our country's energy independence. Therefore we must pay much attention to the channels and ways to communicate what is happening in our country regarding the development and exploration of unconventional resources, especially those related to shale oil and gas.

This roundtable aims to bring together key industry referents to talk about global communication and technical issues regarding the activities associated with the exploration and development of unconventional clusters.

The mounting need for hydrocarbon resources with the aim of sustaining and increasing the reserves, as well as including new areas, forces us to reformulate the paradigms related to hydrocarbon exploration. The goals are increasingly wider, and in some cases, more technologically demanding, as it is shown by non-conventional reservoirs and offshore projects. During the Round Table on Exploration, we will learn about the vision that companies currently have, as well as their future plans to accompany this expansive process.
