Under the motto “Unconventional Resources: a new energy horizon”, the Argentine Petroleum and Gas Institute (IAPG), will hold in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, the Hydrocarbon Industry Forum on October 7-10, 2013, in conjunction with the traditional Exhibition “Argentina Oil & Gas (AOG 2013)”, one of the most significant and largest events in the Latin American Energy Business.

During that week, national and international experts will gather to provide the most updated and complete picture of the situation of the energy industry, with a focus on exploration, development and production of unconventional resources, both in Argentina and the rest of the world.

Each day will feature conferences and round tables about the following topics:

Tuesday, October 8th:
The vision of national and international Service Companies, discussing issues such as the feedback of the local industry to the high inputs demand; equipment and surface installations; developing technology and its implementation in Argentina; government; technological development projects, among others.

Wednesday, October 9th:
Field Development – Case Studies, where we will analyze the vision of the operating companies for the development of unconventional resources, including case studies of shale development, the potential of sedimentary basins, and the quantification of unconventional resources in Argentina.

Thursday, October 10th:
Topics related to Unconventional Resources such as environment, social responsibility, human resources, training, government, and of course the social and economic impact of the development of these resources.
